Room Parent Coordinator Information
Want to get involved in planning activities for your student's classroom? Consider volunteering to be the Room Parent Coordinator!! This position involves organizing parent volunteers for class parties (Halloween/Trunk or Treat, Winter and Valentine's Day), arranging a class gift for your teacher (optional) and helping with any other needs your classroom teacher would need throughout the year.
Also, as a reminder:
- ALL Volunteers MUST complete the Bennington Public Schools Volunteer Application and return it to school prior to volunteering. See the link to school volunteer procedures here and the form to complete here.
- When volunteering to be a Room Parent Coordinator, please ensure that your schedule allows you to attend classroom parties if needed, you are available to help plan and execute these events and are willing to have an active role in this position.
The Pine Creek PTO appreciates all our Room Parent Coordinators! We could not provide such fun activities for our students without your help!!

Trunk or Treat Information
Trunk or Treat will be held on Friday, October 31st at 1 pm starting with an all-school parade, trunk or treating by grade and classroom parties by grade (alternating K-2 & 3-5).
Winter Party Information
This year the Winter parties will be on Friday, December 19th at 9 & 10 am. The schedule for the PTO provided assembly and parties is:
Room Coordinators will arrange volunteers to host the party in each classroom with a snack, drink, game and PTO provided craft! Watch for a sign-up to come from your classroom coordinator on how you can help!
Valentine's Parties *** NOTE DATE CHANGE ***
Classroom Valentine's parties will be held on Wednesday, February 11th at 1:45 pm this year. Watch for how you can help plan or donate to the class party coming from your room parent coordinator soon!
Reminder, any parent volunteering to help at the class party needs to have a volunteer application completed on file with the district. If you have not completed one yet, visit Bennington Public Schools - Volunteer Procedures for more information.
